Our first table. This is a butcher block table that had split in half. Since Juan and I have been learning how to be handy, he glued the table together and repaired it. I used to take care of it from time to time by rubbing mineral oil on it, but since it has been kept under the bed for the past year, I just forgot about it. So what motivated me to take the table out? Actually, it's "Who motivated me? My dear friend encouraged me to start painting again. I saw her cute studio and all of her paintings and wanted something like that too. So here it is, the start of my studio with this very old table.
